Job title: Cargo Claims Adjuster

A highly respected and rapidly expanding cargo claims adjusting firm based in Houston. This client-facing opportunity calls for an experienced professional to join a vibrant team that thrives on delivering expert solutions in complex transportation and cargo insurance cases.

What will you be doing?

• Managing cargo claims from start to resolution, including thorough investigation and analysis.
• Reviewing key documents such as contracts of carriage, bills of lading, and surveyor reports to assess liability.
• Determining coverage based on insurance policy terms and industry regulations.
• Supporting subrogation efforts and advising on loss mitigation.
• Providing expert guidance to stakeholders on claims strategy and resolution.

Are you the ideal candidate?

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cargo, marine, or transport-related claims.
• Active Adjuster License (Texas or reciprocal state).
• Deep knowledge of transport regulations, international shipping law, and cargo liability.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.
• Bonus if experienced with the London market or global claims environments.
