  • Perform site inspections and quality control checks to verify work meets standards.
  • Provide technical support to crews and resolve field issues as they arise.
  • Assist with cost control, quantity takeoffs, and change order documentation.
  • Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and architects to ensure accuracy of layout and construction.
  • Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures on-site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of field engineering or construction experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • OSHA certification or safety training a plus.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Regularly required to walk, climb, and stand on active job sites.
  • May involve extended hours and weekend work depending on project needs.

If you are an innovative collaborator and truly enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment, W.T. Rich will provide long-term career opportunities for the right candidates. Please apply via LinkedIn or send your resume directly to jhladick@wtrich.com.
