Korn Ferry has partnered with a leading diversified manufacturer and distributor of transportation equipment to identify a Director of Engineering to be based in Dallas, Texas. The role will be extremely visible, reporting directly to the VP of Operations and will be responsible for leading all functions of Engineering in multiple facilities.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Multi-Site Engineering Teams: Ensure alignment of processes, standards, and collaboration across all locations.
• Set Strategic Direction: Develop and execute engineering strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.
• Drive Value Engineering & Product Costing: Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or performance.
• Oversee New Product Development: From concept to launch, lead innovation and ensure products meet market and customer needs.
• Manage Projects: Deliver engineering projects on time, within scope and budget, using best-in-class project management practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience, including multi-site management.
• Proven expertise in Value Engineering, Product Costing, and New Product Development.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
