Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Drayage Dispatcher located in Houston, TX. The Drayage Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the transportation of freight containers between ports, warehouses, and distribution centers. The role involves communicating with drivers, monitoring shipment statuses, and ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching and coordinating trucking movements
• Knowledge of drayage operations and container transportation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team
• Previous experience in the freight or logistics industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field is preferred

Pay Rate

$18-$22 per hour, 6am to 6pm, OT applies.
