Shift- 7:30am-4:30pm M-F
Contract -6 months
Pay $20/hr/w2
Description:-
The shift can be start time between 7:30 and 9:00, finish between 4:00 and 5:30.
It’s basic coating lab work, making paint and panels/ testing paint and panels to standard methods
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a coatings laboratory setting. Duties usually consist of preparing coated samples, routine physical testing of the coatings, and making color measurements according to standard procedures. Assists higher level technicians and chemists in execution of experiments and lab procedures. Requires knowledge in using various instruments to prepare for and perform tests. May perform routine and safety checks and preventive maintenance on some lab equipment. This is an entry-level position. Requires a high school education, but lab technician training or prior experience are preferred.
