Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Architect to join the Design/Build Department at our client's team right in Tinton Falls, NJ! Our client is a leading landscape design and construction firm specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects across New Jersey and the surrounding areas.

As a Landscape Architect, you’ll collaborate with clients, architects, and estimators to design and develop residential and commercial landscape projects. You’ll create detailed plans and visuals using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Microsoft Office, supporting the successful delivery of construction and maintenance work.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative, functional, and visually compelling landscape designs
  • Produce design documents, digital models, and visual presentations
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Prepare accurate project cost estimates and ensure timely execution
  • Review and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and site plans
  • Participate in design and construction meetings
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced team environment

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial landscape architecture
  • 5+ years of experience with cost estimating for projects of various scales
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of design
  • Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in SketchUp, Lumion, and 3D rendering software
  • Experience with construction documentation, project estimating, submittals, and change orders
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field
  • Previous experience working in a professional design or architecture firm
