  • Evaluate and help implement AI-enabled or tech-forward processes (within policy and privacy guardrails).
  • Gather user feedback from medical assistants and improve workflows.

Hands-on Desk-Based MA Work (as needed)

  • Building protocols/SOPs and workflows; running small operational pilots or projects.
  • Direct experience with: eligibility checks, appointment scheduling, prior auths (meds, diagnostics, procedures), medication refills, data aggregation/reporting, and chart prep.

Technology requirements (must be proficient)

Minimum qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and Medical Assistant certificate/diploma (or equivalent documented training).
  • 1–3 years related MA experience (ambulatory). 2+ years with leadership/training responsibilities preferred.
  • Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Skills & competencies

  • Quick learner with systems agility; enjoys frequent change and problem-solving.
  • Clear, compassionate communicator; strong writing and documentation accuracy.
  • Project mindset: scoping, milestones, stakeholder updates, and post-launch review.
  • Data-curious: able to pull lists, monitor KPIs, and act on trends.
  • HIPAA/PHI discretion; reliable follow-through; collaborative and solution-oriented.
