Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm (flexible)

Schedule: On-site Monday through Friday

Opportunity: Direct Hire

Pay : $95,000 - $120,000 per year

Location: Los Angeles, CA or Costa Mesa, CA

Job Duties:

• Draft court filings
• Draft discovery requests and responses
• Draft subpoenas to third parties
• Gather and organize client documents
• Prepare and organize document productions (both outgoing and incoming)
• Create indices of client, other party, and third-party documents
• Prepare case timelines
• Prepare exhibits for use at depositions
• Prepare trial documents, exhibits, and other related materials
• Provide trial support to attorneys
• Research rules of legal procedure and substantive law, including cite checking, Shepardizing, and Bluebooking
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Litigation experience (Trust & Probate experience a plus)
• Experience drafting court filings, subpoenas, and discovery requests
• Ability to analyze legal documents and strong proofreading skills
