Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will support the physician in delivering high-quality rheumatologic and primary care services. The NP will work under physician oversight and receive hands-on training in clinical protocols, diagnostics, and chronic disease management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical exams and assess patient health status
- Diagnose and manage common primary care and rheumatologic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
- Initiate and adjust medications under physician guidance
- Provide education and follow-up care for chronic disease patients
- Collaborate with medical assistant and offshore documentation team
- Participate in clinical training sessions led by supervising Rheumatologist
Requirements:
- Active NP license in Texas
- Strong interest in learning Rheumatology
- Team-oriented, patient-focused attitude
- EMR experience preferred
