Job Description

Allegheny Health Network’s (AHN) Pediatric Institute is actively recruiting a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to support our growing NICU presence in the Pittsburgh Market.

Highlights:

  • Management of Level 2 Neonates within a Level 3 NICU
  • Attending deliveries and providing resuscitation as needed
  • Managing infants requiring respiratory support (CPAP, nasal cannula)
  • Collaborating with neonatologists for complex cases and transfers

  • Shifts include 8 and 12-hour assignments

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Experience or recent training in neonatal resuscitation and management of premature infants >32 weeks gestation preferred
  • Familiarity with Level 2 NICU protocols and procedures
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
  • DEA and CPR Certification required prior to employment
