About the Role

Endgame is seeking a driven and creative Product Designer with a deep interest in chess to join our team. You'll play a key role in shaping the user experience of next-generation chess AI tools for learning and analysis. This is going to be a fast-paced demanding job responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-fidelity UI workflows for both web and mobile platforms (all responsive sizes) using Figma
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on design logic and implementation
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on ideas based on feedback and changing requirements
• Contribute to product direction with a user-first, design-thinking approach

Requirements

• Proficiency in Figma and UI/UX design principles
• Deep understanding of chess, both in gameplay and from a user perspective, including the competitive ecosystem
• Experience working in fast-paced, data-informed environments
• Adaptability to evolving goals and project needs
• Passion for chess (playing strength is a plus, but not required)
• Ability to work quickly while accurately and under pressure

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with software development processes
• Based in New York City area or able to relocate
