Job Description

Job Title: Product Manager (Capital Markets, Fixed Income)

Location: Purchase, NY (Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Duration: 12+ months contract with possible extension

Pay Range: $55 to $70/hr on W2

Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to support a Capital Markets platform initiative. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and technology partners to define and manage project scope and deliverables, with an initial focus on Syndicate and Fixed Income products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and manage documentation requirements across multiple stakeholders
  • Own scope documentation within Agile frameworks
  • Liaise between Technology and Business teams to understand and translate project requirements
  • Define and prioritize product roadmap, release planning, and business requirements
  • Identify and groom product backlog (epics, user stories); support backlog refinement and sprint planning
  • Define user journeys, workflows, and business processes aligned with product goals
  • Specify acceptance criteria and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Work with UX teams on wireframes, flows, and interaction design
  • Prepare presentations, user demos, and status updates for stakeholders
  • Track KPIs and adoption metrics; incorporate user feedback into future releases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, risk, legal, and cyber/fraud

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner , Business Analyst , or Project Manager
  • Strong Agile and JIRA experience is required
  • Deep understanding of Capital Markets , particularly:
  • Fixed Income
  • Syndicate
  • Structured Products
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated; able to work independently
  • Proven experience in delivering digital platforms and tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • BA/BS degree preferred, but not required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with trading desks, sales, legal, compliance, and risk teams
  • Experience in developing innovative web or mobile applications in an Agile environment
  • Familiarity with data modeling and flow design
