Senior Manager. Warehouse & Logistics

Salary Range: 120-130k

Location: Philadelphia Metro Area

Schedule: M-F On-site

A food manufacturing client based in the Philadelphia Metro Area is looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Warehouse & Logistics to lead their logistics team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the warehouse and logistics teams (including any relevant hiring processes), enforcing QA and food safety standards, managing warehosue equipment and material vendors/neogtiating contracts, and creating operational plans to drive efficency. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of warehouse and logistics procedures within a refrigerated warehouse environment. This position is fully in person.

The Senior Manager of Warehouse & Logistics will be responsible for...

• Lead warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operational processes and promote growth including involvement in any hiring processes.
• Develop and oversee QA and food safety procedures to comply with legal and company requirements.
• Work with warehosue equipment and material vendors and negotiate contracts to the best price.
• Create and implement warehouse and logistics plans to drive efficency and continuous improvement.

The ideal Senior Manager of Warehouse and Logistics should have...

• Deep knowledge of warehouse and logistics procedures.
• Refrigerated warehouse experience with fresh and frozen food products.
• 5+ years of warehouse or supply chain leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree (or 10+ years of equivalent experience).
• Strong analytical skills (ERP experience required).
