Sourcing Category Manager Location Atlanta, GA : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Category Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities and a deep understanding of market dynamics. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and service levels. Conduct market analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within assigned categories. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing processes and achieve cost savings. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive accountability. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. In-depth knowledge of market dynamics, industry trends, and best practices in sourcing and procurement. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
