Job Title : Staff Engineer (Structural – Revit/BIM)

Location : Pittsburgh, PA 15220 | Fully On-site

Type : Full-time | Direct Hire

Salary : Up to $100,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

Schedule : Monday – Friday | 5 days in office

Must-Haves:

• 4-year degree in Engineering (Bachelor’s minimum)
• 6+ years of relevant structural engineering experience
• Proficiency in CAD, Revit (BIM), and structural analysis software
• Experience with low- to mid-rise buildings
• Willingness to work onsite 5 days a week
• Open to a daily commute of up to 1 hour

Nice-to-Haves:

• Master’s degree in Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license
• Local to Pittsburgh or open to relocation
• Background in a small- to mid-sized firm
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

A respected and growing engineering firm with a team of 13 professionals is seeking a Staff

Engineer with strong experience in building design and Revit modeling. Known as a

regional competitor, the firm offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment with long-term

development opportunities and a notably low cost of living in the area. This is a fully on-site

position with exposure to a variety of structural project types.

Responsibilities:

• Lead structural analysis and design for low- to mid-rise commercial, institutional,
• residential, and light-industrial buildings
• Produce and model construction documents using Revit (BIM) and CAD
• Interface Revit models with engineering software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer)
• Coordinate with other disciplines and manage design/modeling changes
• Adhere to company BIM standards and development protocols
• Communicate directly with clients during all phases of design and construction
• Participate in site visits and support construction coordination as needed

Additional Role Details:

• Responsible for all aspects of structural engineering design under the guidance of a firm principal
• Follow company standards for BIM content and development procedures
• Interact with clients and contractors throughout design and construction
