Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools to effectively build and implement security systems that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure low voltage systems, including surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing security systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Build and assemble components for various low voltage applications.
• Utilize remote access software for system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and equipment inventory.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in low voltage technology.

Experience

• Proven 5 year experience in installing and maintaining low voltage systems.
• Familiarity with security system technologies such as IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) is a plus.
• Experience in alarm system sales is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
• Relevant certifications in low voltage technology or related fields are desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
