Currently, Yellowstone Family Dental is currently seeking an experienced Dental Assistant for our office in Billings, MT!

Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment room for the patient.
• Prepares patient for hygiene treatment by welcoming, comforting, and seating patients.
• Works the hygiene recall list to schedule patients for the follow-up exam.
• Provides instrumentation to the hygienist by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for hygienist's access; suctioning; passing instruments.
• Documents dental care services by charting in patient records as directed by dentist or hygienist.
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping the information confidential.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

Requirements/Qualifications

• 2+ year of hygiene assisting experience required
• Ability to be a team-player and communicate effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Salary Range

• $18 - $23/hr based upon experience
