VENUE MANAGER

(Full-time)

The Show  

An electric dancehall party where showgoers will sing, dance, and connect with the music of Bob Marley in a captivating world of powerful live performances and pulsating reggae rhythms. 

The Experience  

An illuminating multi-sensory experience that takes guests on a journey into the music, message, history and vision of Bob Marley’s life through engaging interactive installations. 

 

TTP Entertainment is seeking a seasoned and service-driven Venue Manager to oversee all daily venue operations for the theatrical production of Bob Marley Hope Road at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. This role is responsible for ensuring an exceptional audience experience, maintaining operational excellence across all public-facing areas, and leading a large front-of-house team. Reporting to the Associate General Manager, this role directly supervises two Assistant Front of House Managers and collaborates closely with box office, production, security, and facilities teams to deliver a seamless and safe experience for every performance. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive professional with a strong background in entertainment venue operations and a passion for the live event and immersive entertainment industry. 

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

Leadership & Team Management  

  • Supervise and support two Assistant Front of House Managers in the daily oversight pulse show guides/performers, ushers, ticket scanners, guest services and merchandise staff; 
  • Provide clear direction, performance coaching, and mentorship to FOH team members; 
  • Create and manage staffing schedules across all FOH areas to meet show needs and service standards; 

Venue Operations & Oversight  

  • Serve as the main point of contact between the production team and venue staff; 
  • Ensure all front-of-house spaces are show-ready, including cleanliness, accessibility, signage, and ambiance; 
  • Ensure timely opening and closing of the venue and secure locking procedures post-performance. 
  • Act as the lead operational contact on performance days, ensuring smooth audience flow and real-time issue resolution; 
  • Manage audience entry, and overall guest experience, ensuring ADA compliance and excellent customer service. 
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment in compliance with venue protocols and regulatory standards; 
  • Maintain health, safety, and fire regulations; manage emergency procedures and venue evacuations if necessary. 

 

Guest Experience & Customer Service  

  • Champion a culture of hospitality and professionalism, ensuring guests receive top-tier service from arrival to departure; 
  • Maintain awareness of Mandalay Bay resort restaurants, services, restrooms, shows, events, and amenities to further assist guests during their time on property; 
  • Resolve customer issues on-site, including escalations, accessibility needs, and special requests. 
  • Support VIP programs, group events, and private functions within the venue; 

 

Interdepartmental Coordination  

  • Collaborate with box office, production stage management, facilities, and security teams to ensure operational alignment and readiness; 
  • Participate in daily pre-show and post-show meetings to communicate show-specific details and staff assignments; 
  • Work closely with marketing or event departments on lobby activations and audience engagement initiatives. 

 

Administrative & Compliance Duties  

  • Manage FOH budget elements including labor, supplies, and event support costs; 
  • Keep detailed records of performance reports, incident logs, and maintenance issues; 
  • Enforce ADA compliance, emergency preparedness, and union protocols where applicable. 

 

 

Education/Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher 
  • 3-5 years of experience in venue, theatrical or entertainment operations management;
  • Strong understanding of guest services, safety compliance, and operational logistics in a live environment; 
  • Familiarity with ticketing and venue management software preferred (e.g., Ticketmaster) 
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

  • Ability to occasionally reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces. 
  • Ability to physically stand, walk, and climb stairs on a consistent basis. 
  • This position could be exposed to loud noises, and frequent phone conversations, and requires average to above average visual acuity and hearing. 
  • Most of this job will be performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment. 

 

 

Compensation  

Expected weekly rate: $1,350.00 . TTP Entertainment also offers excellent medical, dental and vision insurance, plus additional paid time off. 

 

This role is based in Las Vegas, NV and operates in a full-time in-person capacity. This individual is expected to work primarily onsite at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
